The September 2025 Fahey Bank Athlete of the Month for girls is Elgin High School's Kadence Gear for Volleyball!

Congratulations, Kadence!

Kadence had a very productive September for Coach Caitlin Gracely’s volleyball squad. In Elgin’s 5-2 offense, Kadence is both top setter and our second leading hitter. During the month of September, Kadence helped lead the Comets to a 12-2 record with out two losses coming to 13-6 North Union, and 20-0 Pleasant.
