Drew Goldberg - River Valley Wrestling

Drew Goldberg is a senior wrestler for River Valley High School and a four-year letterman. During the month of January, he won 17 wrestling bouts—14 of them by pin, the highest number of pins on the team for the month—and another by technical pin. He has placed in every tournament the team entered, and he achieved his 100th career win in mid‑January. 



Outside of competition, Drew is equally dedicated. Throughout the winter, he helps run the youth wrestling program several nights a week after finishing his own practices. He consistently supports by giving rides to and from practice whenever needed. 

Drew is a committed Christian who attends church weekly, where he volunteers his time running the media and sound booth and assisting with their online video game program. He also maintains a job while participating in athletics to help support his family. 

Drew is a true leader and role model for our team, program, and school.
